We cant drink powdered milk, we tried and we didnt like it. Now if i can get my DH to go from 2% to 1% or skim it would be cheaper. Darn near $3 a gallon! for 2%

I recently bought powdered milk, but I am mainly using it for cooking. We go thru 12-15 gallons of milk per month. I have so far used the powdered milk in tomato soup, mac and cheese and pudding. No one could tell I didnt use real milk. I did let my kids try it, but I put chocolate syrup in it. I dont think it looks like I would like to drink it. But that is just me.

If you want to go power, you need to do it a little at a time some that you don't taste it as much. Power milk is good for baking too.

You could all buy whole milk and cut it into half, that way you get two gallons for the price of one.
