How are things going? Have you used it up, or fallen off the wagon?

I have to say that I emptied my freezer already (well, except for the 18 lb turkey, but that sucker is NOT being cooked while it is over 90 degrees and 100% humidity. LOL!)
My cabinets are getting emptier too.

i used all the veggies that were wilting in my fridge yesterday
gave my dd leftovers for lunch
am using up some crappy conditioner (as there is almost a whole bottle) not my fave, but it would be a waste to throw it out

that's about it for now...

i'm also planning on going for lunch today with friends from out of town... i'm going to try the trick of eating before i go, something cheap from home, and seeing if i can save money on lunch. we'll see!

The pantry, fridge and freezer are getting pretty bare. I have been really good about using up all the leftovers for lunches or dinner.

I did not start the challenge, but ended up having to use up all of the meat in our freezer. I was cleaning it out and noticed that I haven't been properly rotating our meats, so there were several packages that were getting ready to have to be thrown. So, instead of buying any meat this week, we used up what was in the freezer. We also ate up almost all of our leftovers and extra bags of chips that had just a little in the bottom of the bag. New goal: Open ONE bag of chips at a time!

I used up the rest of the eggs this morning, but yesterday I had to throw out some bread that got moldy. I hate that! My fridge is bare though. I'm doing ok I guess, but I need to do a bit better.

I used half of a cabbage head for coleslaw, threw a few sad looking carrots and some potatoes in the crockpot with some chicken from the freezer. Found an almost full container of crystal light in the pantry so we're using that instead of soda. Had some frozen leftover soup for lunch and used it all up. Doing ok, could be better.
