How do you get the rest of the lotion out of a pump type bottle?

I don't have an answer, but I agree this drives me nuts! I swear that the company's intentionally make the dispenser tube much smaller than the depth of the bottle to make people "think" they have run out of lotion, when in fact they still have a good amount left!! JMHO!!

I usually just keep turning the bottle upside down until I get the rest of it out...

Someone had started a thread about this last night. If you can cut off the end then do it! You would be amazed at how many more uses of it you will get. If its glass keep it upside down untill it all flows out.

I use a very sharp knife to cut the tops off bottles - I then store it in a plastic baggie to keep it from drying out.

I turn the bottle upside down for an hour or so until the lotion is all at the top. I take the pump out and fill a plastic refill bottle I got from the travel section at Walmart. I keep this bottle in my purse.

This is a good idea, I never even thought of doing this. I'll have to give it a try!

turn bottle upside down and leave for several hours. Remove cap, remove lotion from the bottle. Recycle bottle.

Most of the time I just dab the bottle onto my legs and lotion as normal, someties I prop the bottle on top of another bottle and drain that lotion into another lotions bootle.

Have also been known to add water to last of lotion and use as a shave lotion in the shower.

If you don't need to use the bottle again then cut the bottom off about 3 inches up from the bottom. There will be tons left. I also use an old spatula for lotions that don't "slip" well and clean out the inside just as you would a jar of peanut butter. It will last for days.
