Another thing to talk to your insurance agent about is your liability or 3rd party limits. Many people only have what is required by the state, and in many states, that limit is very low. I am an insurance agent in Texas and our state only requires liability limits of $20,000 per person, $40,00 per accident, and $15,000 for property damage.
If there is a serious accident, the medical paymentst could be much more than $20,000 per person and there are a lot of vehicles on the road these days that would cost much more than $15,000 to replace should they be totaled out.
Increasing your liability limits a little bit usually does not increase your premium much, (with the company I work for, it is about $4 dollars more per vehicle on the policy per month) and it could save you a lawsuit in the future.
Also - if you haven't done it already, ask your agent if the company you are with offers a discount on your policies if you have both you home and auto insured with the same company. Many of them do and it is worth checking and getting the discount if you are not already.
