I just starting doing the rebates program at Walgreens back in May and love it. Sometimes with coupons they are actually paying you to take the stuff off their hands. Two months ago I started doing the rebate programs from Rite aid and Longs Drug too. I have all three within a mile from my house. I don't think I will every have to pay for toiletries again!

I go to Rite-Aid since that is the only chain pharmacy w/in an hour of me. Check out their circulars at their website, and then get your coupons ready, and head to store. Save your receipt and you can enter it online as soon as you get home!

I wait until products go on sale, I have a coupon, and there are extra care bucks or rebates available. For example, yesterday I had two coupons that expired on Aquafresh toothpaste, a BOGO and a $1.00 off coupon. CVS had it on sale for $2.99, plus you got $2.99 in Extra Care Bucks back for each tube you purchased. So, I "spent" $1.99 for two tubes of toothpaste and got $5.98 back in Extra Care Bucks. Today I took advantage of a sale on Aquafresh Kids toothpaste at the grocery store. It was on sale for $1.00 and I had a coupon for $.75 off, which was doubled. So, I made $.50 on the deal.

If I need something that is not free or close to it, (I ran out of lotion a couple of weeks ago), I will use my Extra Care Bucks or a Walgreen's rebate card to purchase it. That way I'm rarely spending cash, I'm just rolling rebates, etc. over.

Hope that helps!

I am not picky about brands and I cut coupons for absolutely anything that I might buy if there is a good rebate at walgreens. For example, this week, I went to walgreens twice because they offered $10 register rewards when you buy 20 worth of Proctor and Gamble, one time I spent 14 something and one time 16 something total and both times I got $10 worth of register rewards because the total of my items before coupons was over $20.
