I've read a couple different places where people say they never spend money on toiletries because they get them free with coupons and rebates. What rebates? I've never seen rebate tickets on these products, so is there a secret stash of rebate information somewhere that I don't know about?

Man I wish stores here would double coupons.

Also, speaking of coupons, are there any other sources of coupons online, other than that link from this site? I've tried lots of different places, but they all come back to those exact same coupons.

I get all my toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner, feminine products, etc free after rebate with Walgreens rebate club or CVS extra bucks. At Walgreens, they keep little booklets in front of the store of stuff with rebates for the month. There are usually a few FAR. Others are Free after coupons and rebate. At the end of the month you just fill out the page in the booklet, send it with your receipts (circle rebate items) and you can either get a check in the mail or if you choose a gift card you get an extra 10%. Feel free to PM me if you need any more information.

I use the Walgreens rebates, too. I've never tried CVS because it seems too complicated for me.
This Sunday's paper had an insert about rebates from Dollar General. I don't know what their prices are like, so I don't know how close to free things will be, but there are about 50 different products eligible for rebates.

No CVS here, so I take advantage of Walgreens and Rite Aid.

I used to use lots of coupons and some rebates. Not anymore. I started reading labels and found that the products that are pushed with coupons are things that I don't want to use. My health and beuty is almost all homemade now and I cook from scratch. I will bet I spend less than the coupon users.

That's interesting. You should post some of your recipes or links to where you find them. I'm interested in seeing what you do and I bet a lot of others would be too! (Welcome, btw, I see you're fairly new!)

I have been doing the rebates through rite aid for about 8mo now & LOVE IT! I think the cashiers run when they see me coming. I have gotten approx $500 in rebates/free things since starting. I get my shampoo hairspray toothpaste dishwashing & etc from there. Plus, many times there is a coupon as well in the sunday paper! Every sunday I go through their ad a couple times to see what they have that I may need or use. I have found the best week of the month usually to be the first wk. I enter my reciepts online & then at end of mo request my check. I heard rite aid just bought ekerd's & brook's so maybe it will be easier for you who don't have a rite aid. Hope this helps someone to free or cheap goodies!!!

How about that, I had NO idea that these drug stores had these rebate programs. Thanks, I am going to go check out the one at Rite Aid, since they are located the closest to me.

A terrific body scrub is just 2 parts sugar and 1 part olive oil.

Look to stretcher.com for endless suggestions on saving.
