I just started reading Total Money Makeover. We have a lot of credit card debit so we really need to change things around. Can anyone give me some advise? I don't know where to start.

Keep reading the book. He will tell you EXACTLY how to go through all of the baby steps. (I hope that doesn't sound snooty, because that's not my intention at all.) If you start filling out the forms and need additional advice, feel free to PM me. I'm a big Dave Ramsey fanatic!!!

I think that with TMM you will have to make your own forms. In his other book it is easier to write in.

Just cut everything that you can from your expenses and then start with the smallest debt and then start snowballing - you can do it!!! When you get the first one paid off it will become addictive!!

I'm sorry. I think that's right about the TMM book. But the link provided by the other poster should give you those forms. Again, I'm sorry!

I agree!

The thing I really like about Dave Ramsey is that he makes it simple and possible.

I've been podcasting his radio show for a while now and love it. (Just do a search on I Tunes under podcasts for Dave Ramsey ~ it's free) or do a search for his podcasts if you don't have I Tunes. I find it really supplements the book. Not that you need anything else, it just might answer some of the more specific details of your situation.

Thanks for share this and I am going to print out some of those I could use for my home budget that I really need lot of help with. Also, I have several debts that I want to pay them off by end of this year so my husband and I can apply for VHDA to purchase our first-time home with our son in 2008. Thanks!
