I am having youngest dd's birthday party this weekend with Dh's family. We are planning on a cookout and there is a few things I need to get- and I plan on getting it all for $20- I can not go over this amount since I already spent my budgeted money this past week and had a few expenses that needed to be taken care of (Dh broke his cell phone and needed it to be replaced )- I refuse to dip into the savings! Anyways- for the most part I have everything on hand (thanks to my stockpile!) but need to get a fresh tomato, fresh onion, lettuce, hot dog and hamburger buns and of course pop for his family. I think that there is a few more items but I have to do this for $20 or less!

You can do it for sure. I did my DS's first birthday for $30. total without a problem. That included food and decorations, invites etc.
Good luck!

Do you have an Aldi nearby? If so you could do it and probably have change left over!

We do have an aldi near us- but it is about 25 minute drive with traffic so I will probably be sticking nearby (also Aldi's is near all kind of discount stores and Goodwills- so I best stay away from there! ).
