Yes I am that insane to post this question so here goes. I notice that a lot of you talk about "price matching". So say there is an ad at Kroger and Campbells soup is $.50 a can on sale. This means I can go to Walmart w/the ad in hand, go to the checkout, show them the ad and they will give me the can for $.50? This is such as stupid question and I should know better since I consider myself a pretty savvy shopper but I dont. Thank you for not laughing!

Actually, I called asked my Walmart that very question. They said that they don't price-match grocery items, only regular merchandise. I was disappointed.

I would ask again. My DH is the frozen foods department manager at WalMart (Michigan) and as far as I know they still price match food as long as it isn't two for one deal or a percentage off. In fact I was a cashier there about five years ago and we would price match.

I currently am employed by Walmart, and yes they do price match. As the previous poster said, not by one get one's or percents off! Just make sure you have your ad!
