Well we made a certain member's grandfather birthday cards from card stock we already had.

We haven't gone anywhere today so we didn't spend anything on gas (or showers!!!!)

We're not ordering in or taking out, I'm making dinner tonight event hough I really really don't want to and really really want to have take in. (does that count as frugal? )

That is very frugal, good for you!!

I stayed home all day with the kids also. We walked to the park this morning and played in the small pool and sand box after naps this afternoon. I cooked dinner with what I had in the fridge. I also hanged a load of clothes on the line. Very frugal day for us!! I love it since July was a very expensive month. Hope we catch up in August.

-I put up tomatoes from garden into the freezer for sauces, soups, etc to use this winter
-bought milk at the gas station. It's so much cheaper than at the grocery stores.

I made myself pass up several things in Kroger hat were on my list because after thinking about it further, there was no way I'd be able to use it all, it would be just more money thrown away in food because it wasn't eaten.

Also made myself only get 4 baby board books at a yard sale, even though there were dozens of books I wanted because I didn't like the price. Because of that, the woman sid to comeback tomorrow and she might go lower!

Planning to do a freezer inventory and leave it on the freezer door, so I know what I do, and don't have at all times.

Trying to figure out how to salvage a perfectly good insulated lunch box with the zipper thing completely broken off. Not even the little nub is left to close the zipper.

Lastly, have a load of wash hung outside, though the black sheets are in the dryer for 10 minutes to get the cat hair off them.
