I started line drying in my basement a month ago and love it. I too put the dried clothes in the dryer for approximately 10 mins. to get the stiffness out. No problems. It really isn't as much work as some people would think and I also find it relaxing to be down there by myself putting laundry up.

Have any of you guys noticed a drop in your electric bill since starting to line dry?

I do this too, but if I've used liquid fab softener in the wash, I don't waste the dryer sheet. A barely damp rag added to the dryer with the line dried clothes sort of "reactivates" the softener, and fluffs everything back up. I save about 30 bucks each month by using the clothesline and just 10 minutes of the dryer to fluff each load.
