I know we are all trying to save $$$ but do you have one or two little things that you do spend a tiny bit of $$$ on in order to give yourself a little pick-me-up? Or is knowing you are saving $$$ and getting out of debt the only pick-me-up you need?

Mine is the bathroom. I LOVE to take bubble baths. I love the bathroom to be soothing and pretty but I just will not spend alot of $$$ to do it. I have picked up several glass containers at yard sales or flea markets and I have never paid over .50 for each. After I clean them up, I fill them up with bath beads or bubble bath from the dollar store and line them up in my bathroom. It looks so soothing and looks like I spent an absolute fortune on fancy bubble bath. I also have found some unique candle holders that I put candles in (again from the Dollar Store) and line them up along the tub. So I probably only spend about $1-$3 a month at The Dollar Store to replenish my stock, but it makes the world of difference in how it makes me feel when I finally get to take a bubble bath.

So what are your little, inexpensive pick-me-ups?

A book or a movie to curl up to from the library and sometimes a bath with rose petals from our rose garden.

Sorry to say I have weekly Latte (which in the summer becomes a milk shake. Its family time every tuesday the whole family goes to a cafe. DH and I have our drinks, do a little knitting and bethy has a little kids table and tries to eat crayons.

I also like walks as splurges. Enjoying a good view and good company is always a treat.

I absolutely have to have instant Chai tea on hand. I drink it twice a day to unwind.

I also tend to splurge on scrapbooking supplies. I'm a junkie...

I'm a coffee snob. If I had to give up on my custom blended, hand roasted coffee, I would truly feel poor.

I DO continue to search for a high-quality coffee at a cheaper price, but I haven't found one yet.

A cleaning lady! When we have enough $ I call in one and it isn't that much as I have a small house. I have a hard time keeping up with the cleaning since I usually have at least four little ones in my house at all times! (I do childcare in my home during the week and weekend.) I love a clean smelling home and love seeing my hardwood floors shine. Doesn't happen too often but it is sooo worth it to me! I'm a neat freak.

Magazines...I am absolutly addicted to magazines. I have subscriptions (Thank you all those great mommysaver deal Kim!), but every other Thursday when I go grocery shopping I pick up First (if it is the new issue) or a Woman's World (and I try to get them at BJ's b/c they are 10-20 % off)
