Now that I know what size jeans my kids are in (with new pairs), I am going to start looking for those sizes in thrift shops! I hope I get as lucky as you did!

Great deals! The one near my work sells all clothing for $1.99, even the designer labels too and every Monday they have certain color tags 50% & 75% off! Sometimes I can walk about with a whole bag for $5 for the kids!:happy dance:

That's great! We haven't been able to hit a lot of thrift stores this summer, but we did hit one a couple of weeks ago. We found nothing for me (I swear, someone in my exact size must have been there an hour before me and wiped the whole selection out! ) but we did find dh two pair of pants to wear to work. One was a black pair, which will take the place of the black pair that has been virtually ruined at McDonalds.

Thrift stores are so great. I'm glad you had good luck!!

I love them too! When I was on vacation I got a HUGE container full for $90. This included 3 pairs of shoes for me, 6 sweaters, many many pairs of pants for DS, shorts, snowpants, fall coat, long sleeve t's...the list goes on. Most of them were Gap, The Children's Place, Eddie Bauer, American Eagle etc.
