I think I'm starting to get the hang of this coupon/rebate things! Yesterday I went to Walmart and, I got 6 boxes of cereal, 2 boxes of PopTarts, and 2 boxes of GoTarts for $9.02 after coupons and rebate! Normally I don't buy things like PopTarts, but DH loves them, and with a deal like that, how could I go wrong??

Good for u. just wait it will get easier and you'll be able to save even more the more experienced u get. I sent my rebate in the day after it came out in the paper. I got everything 100% free and even made money on the deal. :happy dance:

Oh how exciting! I'm still trying to figure out how to get the MOST from coupons and rebates too.

I did the same deal at Walgreens. I used the coupons and my total was $21.00. I purchased the ten items and the register printed out $11.00 in Walgreen bucks and I cut the UPC codes off the products and mailed off for my $10.00 rebate today. FREE!

I did grocery shopping last night, The total was $89.54 after all my coupons and free's I spent $34.79!!
Then I was sooo proud of myself, I went to Michaels (right next door to the market) I also found myself a new little Witch sign to hang in the kitchen with my others! spent $11.00, & still came out ahead!
