My SIL is moving and cleaning out her cupboards, so she passed on to me a bunch of stuff out of her pantry. One of the things was a pancake mix where you just add water. Since dinner tonight was just the girls and I, I made that! FREE! Than, since I can't just serve pancakes, I served them the blueberries that my aunt brought me from MI! FREE! After that, I took the girls with their FREE ice cream coupons to cluvers! FREE!

I know, not the most nutrious meal, but the girls loved it and it was easy and FREE!:happy dance:

Congrats! I think that is wonderful! I love it when my mom empties out her fridge or pantry before she leaves for a vacation. Let's just say she does not live the frugal life when it comes to groceries!

That is wonderful! And I wouldn't worry about the nutrition. Believe me, I have served alot of meals with less nutritional value than that one. Heck you had blueberries! Any meal with fruit has to have some vitamins in it.

MI Blueberries! I am so jealous! I love MI berries and I miss them. I grew up there. And OH just doesn't have the same produce. Sounds like the perfect meal to my btw. Pretty sure I've served about the same to my DH--including the ice cream
