It is a cool, icky rainy day and I am bored. Not to say there isn't plenty I could do around the house, I just don't feel like it. I am working on the laundry and baking some pumpkin bars, but I don't feel like cleaning the bathrooms or going through the boys' dressers I really feel like getting out of the house. Someone talk me out of it!!!!

We are having the same kind of weather, but if you want you could come help us paint the cabinets in out kitchen.

How about picking up a rental movie, popping some popcorn and watching a movie with the boys? Then encourage them to build a fort out of blankets, sheets, chairs, etc while you take a nap or curl up with a good book?

You have everything you need to make a memoriable day and not spend money

I like Denvergirlie's idea. Perfect way to pass the time. It's sunny here and I have lots I should be doing outside.

I'm not much of a shopper-for-pleasure gal, but I'm kind of itching to get out of the house and shop too. Instead, I think we'll beat our summer doldrums by hanging pictures on the wall.

It's too hot to do anything outside.

Hang tough! Cooking is a good way to pass the time, so is cleaning/organizing - but I don't want to do that right now either.

I might go through the bookshelf and find a good book to read to get me through my desire to shop. There's no money in the budget this month for me to take a trip out to the stores.
