i also was gonna say amazon.com i got 7 kids christmas presents out of the way in july i had a $10 amazon gift card plus the day i shopped it was free shipping. so i got all my extended kids gifts for well under 20 bucks ya can't beat that. everything i got was originally over 20 bucks. the only down fall is finding the time to look thru all the pages but hey it paid off.

I just wanted to add (sorry if duplicate) that if you sign up for the freebies throughout the year they can really come in handy during holiday season. I make gift baskets for a lot of people and these freebies really help fill them up and they don't cost a thing.

Don't forget to start early if you are making homemade gifts. Also, remember, that it is the thought that counts the most not the size or cost of the gift.

Keep a list of all your clearance finds from last season in your Christmas Notebook (see organizedchristmas.com if you don't have one.) I always tend to jump on the first sale I see in October and stock up on wrapping paper, garland, etc. only to discover the exact same items when I pull the boxes out from storage.
