I know there are many of us who have a hefty little stock pile of Christmas supplies stashed away. Now is the time to dig through them and make a detailed list of what you have so you aren't tempted to over buy once the holidays come around.

I checked mine today and have more Christmas cards than people I know.....tons of wrap, lots of ribbon etc. etc.

I also reviewed my gift list which shows the great gift deals I've tucked away, so I know how much (or how little) I still have to buy.

If you are bored and don't know what to do with yourself today, get this little task out of the way!

great idea. I tend to do this too late. I keep a notebook and write down what I brought and girls/boys/unisex. If it is for someone specific I write that down also. I then cross off a gift when it is given. I just about have all the elementary age girls, now for the preteens.

This is a great idea! Maybe after I get down unpacking from camping I'll do that! I know that there is a lot that I want to reorganize and note that I have it!

I was just talking about this yesterday. My Christmas closet is so unorganized. I definitely have to straighten it out soon but I think I'll wait until DD is back in school.

Great topic. I'm going to go throogh everything tonight. I know that I'm okay on gift wrap and bags, but I'm only doing for the kids (5 presents each) and my mom and dad. I may do something very small for the aunts but that's it. I have to make out my list and head to the dollar store, but I'm also fine on cards, infact I think I may even do them early this year. Also, goint to do a bake list too and find out what all I need there too!!

I went through my gift boxes about a month ago. Got to start early this year, since I will be having the baby just a few weeks before I start mailing christmas gifts. Glad to see everyone else has some sort of gift stash too!!

Great idea! I really have to get a list started with everything I have, including wrapping and baking supplies. That way I can stick to my budget and not overspend! Now that the kids are back in school I can get everything out and organize

I love the idea of keeping a notebook with everything I buy for my gift closet!
