In our local paper there was a mom who used The Grocery Game to save money. I checked out the web site. The price is $10.00 for eight weeks. They match up coupons with sale prices for you. They don't have the sales at Shaws, my personal favorite store, but they do at Stop and Shop, which I think is expensive. Has anyone had luck with this service?

I have had GREAT luck with it, they have a trial for $1 and it is really the way to go, especially for the beginner (me). By the time my trial runs out, I hope to be able to do it by myself. In the trial, you can use as many stores as it has for your zip code, after that you pay for each store (every 8 weeks), $10 for the first & $5 for each additional. My very first couponing grocery trip ever I saved over $40.

someone told me that when my trial runs out, to use the website coupon mom. She has a list that is a virtual coupon organizer. You may want to check that out.

I have ised grocerygame it is great to get you stareted once you use it for awhile and figure out the rythm you really don't need it. I looked at couponmom and it's not as detailed but hey it's free, so I think I'm cancelling grocerygame, don't really need it anymore.

I decided recently to use the Grocery Game. I would love to use Coupon Mom but none of the stores in my area are listed. I find the grocery game a little annoying because the sales are updated on Sunday and the sales at my store expire/renew on Weds morning. So I have three days to go grocery shopping, which is often fine, but it'd be nice to have the whole week! I of course didn't really realize that when I signed up for the trial so I was only able to use the list for two weeks--the other weeks we were out of town Sun-Tuesday night.

And I know it happens everywhere but I've been a little frustrated too because I don't always have the same coupons as those listed and my grocery store doesn't always carry the items on the list.

But I decided to try it anyway. I figure to break even for the newspaper and the subscription to GG I have to save $2.75 that I wouldn't have otherwise saved. That shouldn't be too hard (hopefully). And like someone said above, I'm hoping that I catch on and don't have to use their service.
