It's hard to do it by month because in some months there are 5 weeks and in other months there are 4 weeks.

My goal is $100 a week or less for 4 of us. If I spend more one week then I budget less the next.

However, I've heard that prices are A LOT more expensive in Alaska. It would be interesting to do a price list. I'll start another thread for that one.

For 7 of us my bill stays around 500 a month. That includes cleaning/hygene products AND a DF that has his special list. ( which NEVER includes generic, store brands OR items that I can find coupons for )

My is around $280 a month for two, but we do alot of entertaining. Dinners & BBQ's with family, friends, and neighbors. At least 2x a week we are feeding more people then just ourselves. And I also give alot of food to my children that all have families of their own. When they come to visit they allways leave with a bag or two of food (meat mainly, vegs, etc..) So that's not to bad. But $1100 a month is alot, but like someone said it could be the area.

I usually spend right around $400 for my family of 6, that includes all tolietries, paper products, cleaning supplies, diapers and school lunch money.

I do once a month cooking and that seems to save us a lot of money.

I can do it in about $125 dollars a month for a family of 4, but I would rather do it's for $250.

There are 4 of us and shopping at Walmart (and 1 local market for meat) I usually spend between $80 to $90 a week. So somewhere between $300 and $400.

probably less than $250, including diapers etc. Two of us and the baby (although I've just barely started having to buy baby food).
