We spend $500 a month for a family of six. We only eat out one time a week and then we do cheap, so eating out would only be about $80 a month if that. We go to Walmart and get all cleaning, household and groceries.

to $600 a month for a family of four. That includes, formula, diapers and goodnights, cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, etc. Everything has gone up a LOT around here recently. I used to be able to get hamburger at Costco for $1.99 a pound, but it is $2.39 now. A two-pound block of "slice-it-yourself" cheese went from $4.59 to $7.69. Eggs went from $1.85 for 3 dozen to over $4.00 for the same amount. I'm trying to get back on the coupon bandwagon, but have just been overwhelmed with other stuff, quite honestly.

We usually spend between $550-$700 a month on groceries for a family of 5. Prices around here in So. Cal. have gone through the roof! We try to eat out maybe once during the week and maybe once on the weekend, just depends on what we are doing that day. I have realy tried to make and stick to a menu, that seems to help a lot.
