This is sort of a spin off from the wasting food thread... I bought these little "egg" type things at the health food store, you put them in your fruit and veggie drawers and they supposidly help suck up the air that produce gives off, to stop it from rotting so soon. I don't think they work very well. Any one else have anything like this? I know someone mentioned putting celery in foil to store, and other clever ideas like that?

I bought the foodsavers from Tupperware. they are bit spendy since it's Tupperware, but I've noticed a significant improvement in how long fruits and veggies last.
