I have only purchased a few small items. I decided last year that I am going to try and do all shopping at one time (unless I find and unbeatable deal). I tend to start early and then finish, but continue shopping because I find things that I think "they can live without". This year they each have a dollar amount and we will buy the most important things first, but when the money is gone, it's GONE!!!

UGH, I have my list done, does this count. I usually do the bulk of my shopping in October & finish up on black Friday & that weekend. Lots of unbeatable deals for a person like myself who has limited funds and a budget to stick too.

I have not started yet but will be doing so very soon (as opposed to my dh who waits literally until THE WEEK of C-mas) Can you imagine? I have tried and tried to get him to do it earlier but even though he waits so long he still seems to pull it all together.

I started the day after last Christmas. Well, that isn't true, sometimes I start before that. I shop constantly and year round. I don't necesarily shop for xmas alone. I actually found mom's xmas for this year the day after last xmas.

Well, I went to TRU today, and hit their buy2 get1 free sale. So now the kids are about 3/4 of the way done. And not all I bought (Sarah got some new polly's and Andy got some lego sets, and I got them each a set of those Magnetix). What I don't give them for Christmas will be saved for their birthday in February, or used for someone else's birthday gift. I also got Brian started today as well. So I just need to buy for my parents, my inlaws, my SIL, the kids teacher, and a couple of our close friends, and I"ll be done!!

I have a lot of my shopping done already. Thank goodness for the ltd catalog. My hubby and children are all done except for a few small things for the stocking. I think one of my saving graces are that we draw names on all the sides of the family for the kids and we are not obligated to buy for anyone else. I still have to finish with our parents and siblings, but that is about it. I have worked the money needed into the biweekly budget, so things should be smooth sailing. This has not been the case in the past. There have been times I have been out on xmas eve. Never again.

I got presents for my 3 nieces on clearance at Toys R Us for half off.

-Hilary Duff Barbie
- 2 Cabbage Patch Girls

So far for my DD I have picked up a Pet Shop Pet set. Also at a major savings I picked up my DD a pair of $100+ dollar figure skates for $25 on Ebay. I also have some skate dresses coming from Ebay that I got for cheap

For my youngest I used some Pamper's Points to get her 2 Baby Lego toys.

To save $$$$ I pass all of the more expensive gifts to Grandmas since they love to spoil their grandbabies

I've started, but I don't really have that much to buy anyway.

We have had it with the consumerism of it and are trying something new this year.

Other than the immediate family (DH, DD and I) we are only buying for our nephew this year. All the adults are getting a charitable donation in their honor. Everyone already has everything they need/want and it was getting to the point where we were all completely at a loss as to what to get each other. My DH has gotten undershirts from my sister for the last 4 years!

We are also allowed a small ($5 or so ) token gift in addition to the donation. I bought ornaments last year after Christmas and that's what everyone is getting from us.

Oy yoy, you are all gonna kill me, finished long time ago! I do majority of shopping January/February (sales!!) and usually finish in July. I keep a present stash stocked all year round with classic books, spa stuff, toys, kitchen stuff all usually acquired for under $5.00 to $10.00. Reason? Can't stand the malls/stores in holiday season - they drive me crazy - my goal in life is to not step into a store in December- if I need something, I will improvise with what I already have. PS- I also buy my Halloween candy on November 1 for the next year - shhhhh!
