Normally, I would have already started Christmas shopping by now, but this year, I'll probably have to wait until the Friday after Thanksgiving.
Coolmammacat, I use to purchase things for my older girls from LTD/ABC catalogs.

I have.
I got my twin neices done...got everything on clearance at Target for under $8.
They are getting Bratz babies, a pencil purse, markers & child scissors. I will raid my stash for stickers to put in there.
I might get them $5 in Disney Dollars to go along with it since the entire fam is going to Disney together in Feb.

I picked up my son some blocks at Christmas Tree Shoppe.

Now I just have a billion & one more people to go & I will be done.

I started shopping last year the day after Christmas at the sales. I've been shopping all year and tucking items away. I have a storage area that is divided for everyone on our list, and I keep a running inventory list on what I have for whom and what I still need to get. It makes it so much easier for me to not have to wait until now to plan for the holidays and I spend less money since I buy things on sale/clearance. I'm almost finished and we have 29 people we buy for.

I have to admit that I started my holiday shopping on Labor Day weekend. One of the Outlet Centers about 40 minutes from my house has an unbelievable sale Labor Day Weekend and I bought gifts for DH, DD, Mom, SIL & 2 nephews. So half my shopping is down already! I will go again in Columbus Day weekend and try to catch those sales and finish my shopping.

I too also started the day after Christmas. Most of the presents that I got this year were purchased online. It was great. Now I am done and it's the beginning of October.
Thank goodness because I really can't handle the crowds after Thanksgiving

This is good thing that I am donie shopping as I just found out that I am about to lose my job. My company is closing it's doors within the next month or 2 .

I have gotten a couple presents for my children already. I just keep an eye out for great deals online or in stores that I think they would like and scoop for them up for cheap. So far I got my son a spiderman watch for .60 and my daughter a necklace for $2.
