I am hoping to get a jump on holiday shopping this year. Who has started their shopping already?

I have, but very little.
I have bought for 2 of my 4 goddaughters.
I have also bought some next summer stuff for my daughter that will be wrapped up under the tree.
Lots left to get but hopefully I will make it there slowly but surely.

I would be in a total panic now if I had not!! The way it is, I would like to be mostly done by now, but finances has prohibited it this year!

Heck no!! I have no idea what to get the kids for Christmas. They havent really asked for anything (well, aqua dots and moon sand). They honestly do not need anymore toys. Even if I go thru and clean out their toy boxes again, I know that they dont need any. I will tell my mother and mil (and anyone else) to just get them clothes.

I've gotten a good head start. I just ordered the kids some new cartridges for the Leapsters (2 each), and we've gotten them each some chapter books. As far as clothes are concerned, we usually do 1 PJ's each, and 2 outfits each and that's it. We're cutting WAY back this year, simply because they get TOO MUCH!! There is a new Polly Pocket playset (looks like a race track) that Sarah seems interested in, but that's about all she's shown interest in so far. Andy says he wants everything he sees in the commercials! lol Stocking stuffers will be the same as they were last year; socks, undies, bubble bath, chapstick, an orange in Andy's sock, and an apple in Sarah's, hair things for Sarah and Hot Wheels for Andy.

What I am really hoping for, is that Brian will take an active role in the Christmas shopping with me!! That way, he can't blame the amount of money I/we spent on Christmas, all on me!! LOL That, and I think it would be more fun to do some of it together!!

I've got about a third of it done, I usually buy throughout the year on clearance, so about 2 months ago tried to match up some of the stuff in my gift tubs with people, and make a list of ideas of other things that would be good gifts. I never want to finish before Black Friday, because what if there's the most perfect gift?! Also, gives me a little more joy during December to be getting last minute trinkets.
