DH ran into BJ's for me to get 2 gallons of milk and bottled water (Milk is only 2.36 for a gallon of 2%) DH walks out of the store with a big ol grin! I think uh-oh, he bought something I didn't tell him too....He puts stuff in, gets in says, Guess how much I spent? I guess $10, thinking, okay ,fine...Nope....6.32(2 gallons of milk and the case of water) He's so proud of himself...The water had a vendor coupon for $3.00 off...so he got a 35 pack of bottled water for 1.49.

He got a pat on the back....And gets to go back at the end of the week for more milk .....

I'd have him see if there's still a coupon on the water and get another case of that, too, what a steal! And give him a pat on the back from me, too! My dh would have been grinning because of all the other "good deals" he got...that we didn't need!

My DH is lucky, lucky, lucky too. He is always in the store when they clearance out everything. I think the Lowe's manager waits until he drives into the parking lot to mark things down. He always walks out with the most amazing deals.

My kids love it when dad goes to the grocery store - he finds good deals, but he also is a snack-aholic and buys lots of snacks that mean mommy won't. If I could only get him to use coupons.....
