Not to sound like a jerk here, but I LOVE being frugal. Always have. Its always been like a game. I think I could win $1m tomorrow (though I don't spend money on lottery tickets :-) and I'd still be at Wal-Mart buying the Wal-Mart brand hamburger helper and going to Market basket to get the $1.99 boneless skinless chicken breast though.
I guess its a mindset. My mother is just as thrifty and frugal and it is a BIG competition between us, so that helps too.

Keep the faith ladies, it is soooo worth it.

Regarding staying frugal - Having a family member who is a financial idiot and makes every mistake in the book repeatedly (won't track spending or budget) and then is depressed and stressed out all of the time because of it helps keep me on track too!
