I was going to say the same thing.. My hair stylist always says how healthy my hair is.. I also use their 3 minute conditioner 1or twice a month. I switched when I moved out and couldn't afford what my mom bought us..

I only use Bumble and Bumble hair products right now...they're AWESOME for me. Totally worth the money. Their colored hair shampoo is the best I've ever used. I'll never go back to drugstore brands...

My kids swim daily, so they use either Paul Mitchell's Shampoo 3 most of the time and then they also use one of the Burt's Bees shampoos but I can't recall the name right off...

I don't like fruity or candy scented anything, and neither do my kids, thankfully.

By the way. White Rain products are at the Dollar tree. $1 a bottle.

I have tried using the Suave shampoos but I always seem to go back to my Biolage Shampoo. It cost me a little more, but my hair feels so much better! The cheaper shampoos dry my hair out too much.

I still get my hair cut every 6 weeks, but I have been going to the quicky cheap salons like Great Clips. I have a pretty basic hair style so it is not too difficult to have cut. This way it keeps the dead ends away and I don't have to pay 50 bucks for my old hair stylist!!!!........Though I do miss her.

I'm going to try White Rain. Thanks, missystuy!

I used to use Tresemme or Pantene and buy Suave for my husband. He's mostly bald and uses shampoo when shaving the rest of his hair. He would end up using the more expensive stuff for that and it really annoyed me, so I just went to Suave for myself.

I don't wash my hair every day either. If I did that I would be a big ole friz ball. I use a vinegar spray during the week and wash on Sundays with shampoo.

I started using Sauve about six months ago. We need to make cut backs and I found that for $3 (that is for shampoo and conditioner) it last our family of six for six weeks. HOWEVER...mine and my girls' hair (boys are shaved fairly short so who cares!) was getting really dry and felt like hay! When we got our hair cut the lady said our hair was very unhealthy. My husband even told me I don't care what you pay just stop using that stuff. I started using Avon shampoo and conditioner. It is the same price but smaller bottles so it only lasts four weeks. But our hair is so much healthier and softer now.

If you have a Sally's nearby, check it out. I used to get their version of Biolage really cheap, and liked it just as well--and more importantly my hairstylist said my hair was very healthy when I used it! They have their own versions of most of the salon brands for less than half the salon prices.

For my kids I often use the Suave kids stuff, and for me I alternate between herbal essences, garnier nutrisse, and aussie. My favorite is the aussie. They get marked down often at target and all 3 of those brands have coupons a lot. I try to get them at walgreens when they go on sale/rebate there. I also think it depends on your hair. I didn't really like the white rain. It smelled great but I didn't like how my hair came out.
