My toddler was trying to be Picasso and used a crayon to mark on the baby's extrasaucer. Does anybody know what could take this out? I tried rubbing alcohol, toothpaste and White Vinegar. If anybody has any other ideas I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Amber

mr. clean magic eraser is great on crayon.

P.S. I only allow washable crayons in my house now! They're more expensive than cheap ones but cheaper than replacing whatever our little "Picassos" decide to put their mark on!

I agree with Mr. Clean! When we bought our house, the previous owners' children had colored on just about everything, and that's the only thing we had that would get it off!! WD40 would work too, just never thought of it!

I'd try WD40 first, or goo gone...just because the Magic Clean Eraser could 'etch' or create a worn look on the plastic. Maybe if you have to use it, try it on a hidden area first?

I make a paste of baking soda and dish soap, rub it on the crayon until it is off and then rinse the residue. (I actually use a vinegar and water spray, but a rag and water would be fine, too.)

I have no experience - but am wondering if nail polish remover will work.

Also try powder laundry detergent and a scrubby sponge. It shouldn't make marks on the plastic, or dull it. And it's always worked for me.

Go to the Crayola website. Click on the For Parents link and a stain tips section will come up. It looks like a combination of WD 40, dish detergent, and warm water. Crayola's website is awesome and will give you stain removal tips for any product they make and almost any surface out there to clean them from. Let us know if it works!!
