Put out the word to friends, family, or coworkers that you are looking for certain things. I get coupons from 2 ladies at work. One coworker brings in a sack full about every month (she also gets them from her parents then gives them to me). Another coworker found out I love to read. She brings me in bags of books, and she doesn't want them back. I either give them to my MIL or I turn them into store credit at a local used bookstore.

Heck we just got a whole bunch of furniture that way. Everyone at my dh's work always asks him first if he wants things they are giving away. We just got a couch, recliner, end table, 2 lamps and a bedroom set!! All free!!!!

Friends and family are always asking us if we need such and such or giving us coupons they don't need. I also will ask them to sign up for freebies that I know they don't need but I could use and haven't had anyone say no. And I also do the same for them as well.
