We used to live right by a walmart and we popped in there around 3 times a week to whatever we needed. Probably spent around $200 a week there including diapers for two. I hate walmart though target is much nicer! Since we moved now I am right down the street for Target and we joined Costco so now I hardly ever go to walmart I think I've been once in 3 months. of course that frees up money for Target! I am at target average of 2 times a week down from several! I spend around $100 a week there now some weeks more some weeks much less.

I go wayyyyy to much and spend more money than I should, I spend between $100-$200 a week there, on what you ask? I dont know!!!!! Im going to try to only go there once every other week. I have been spending too much money lately, not just at Walmart but eveywhere and really need to get back in control, because we are starting to feel it.

I don't go to Walmart very often. When I do it is usually for something specific. I go to Target once a week at the most and spend between $5 and $100 depending on what we need at the time.

[quote=blessed_with_6 I thought about running errands, and there are a few I should probably of done, but since I was PASSING my house to go, I just went HOME!! Now, I can get the laundry finished...I was on a roll yesterday, mop the floor, and spend NO money. I am proud of myself. LOL[/QUOTE]

Funny you should mention that. I was just thinking about how good it felt cleaning today (not the actual cleaning lol) but the being home, doing something productive and NOT spending extra money!

If I go to wallmart it is usually the supercenter and WOW last time I went in for a few things it was 250.00! I spent the same amount the week before! I can't do that too often that is a budget blower! I am really good about running into the wallmart by my work and only picking up what I am going in for. I usually stick very close to my list and the last visit to walmart I knew of a few things I needed and ended up purchasing xmas and all sort of stuff! NEVER going in without my trusty list! WOW!

Ds was on the organic formula that they sold there so we went once a week for a can of formula. But normally if we got anything other than that it was diapers or a candy bar. Now we switched his formula to something that's avalible everywhere so we dont need to go as much but since we moved and now the walmart is a super walmart I'm considering grocery shopping there.

$50 minimum and I think my average is $130. I try not go there. I mainly shop at Costco with Walmart supplementing what I don't buy at Costco.

you know I was thinking about something after my original reply on here. My dad works for a supermarket and I ran in to get something where I don't normally shop. (no discount lol) Anyway... If you think about it. Everything you really NEED not want but NEED you can purchase in a regular small grocery store. Yes, they might be overpriced and I agree but I don't get in too much trouble seeing things when I'm in a normal grocer. They have hygene, paper goods, laundry soap, and food! What more do you need? Just a thought. I think of all the other "stuff" at supercenter as a game somedays when I'm feeling over tempted since I kNOW xmas is comming up and I am feeling the xmas spend/guilt already. The game is to see how little I can come out of there with and the "stuff" is the tempations in the game. I lost BIG time last time I went in without a list. I'm heading in tomorow WITH a list and I'm determined to WIN! :D

I go no more than once a week and usually spend $50-$85. I have a few personal rules: always go with a list or I will spend lots more. I don't go after 1000 am or it is too busy and I NEVER go on a weekend. You could not pay me to go in walmart on a weekend.

I understand the economic reasons some people don't like walmart but it is so much cheaper than Target. Plus they price match so you can combine almost all your shopping needs into one trip to save gas.
