To them it's just a job and commission. To you, it's your life, and sometimes I turn the tables on them and try to get them to realize that. I actually get very frustrated with the pushiness of these companies. I called Cox Cable last week for a problem, and was talking to their technical dept. Near the end he does his expected spiel about how he noticed I didn't bundle my phone. I told him why we chose not to, and he tried to convince me to switch. Then, when I agree to find out more, he tells me he doesn't have the ability to give me more or switch me, but that a sales agent can help me. So he puts me on hold. After a minute and a half (a long time when you have a toddler), I decide it's been long enough and hang up.
I also hate when you order something by phone and they keep trying to sell you other things. You say no and they either argue with you from their script or go on and try to sell you the next thing on their list. One of the many reasons I will never order from Gunthy Rinker.
