I was running around and had no time for supper between work and ds's preschool party. I thought I would splurge and get something from the grocery store. I was thinking something that was a treat and pre-made. I walked all over that store and could not bring myself to spend that kind of money I ended up coming out of there with 3 pks of biscuits at 44 cents each and came home and made them into donuts.

And...HyVee's donuts they made that day get put in bags at about 6p every night and sell for $.99 a bag. We buy and freeze....often! I wouldn't be able to splurge and pay more than that before 6pm.

Isn't it great when we get a thrill and consider it a splurge to do what others do without a second thought? They have to go to extra cost and length to get their thrills.

I think a million times before buying something - anything...most of the time.
Like I've often said, the thrill for me is to know I CAN buy it if I really wanted it.
It satisfies me
