I do! I have not been to too many yard sales this past year and a lot of the good consingment stores are out of business. However this year while a consingment store was going out of business I got my oldest a lot of books from the consingment store ($1 a bag- for Fear Street, Goosebumps and a few other series that she is just starting to like). Last weekend I did hit a decent yard slae and got my oldest clothes for 50 cents a piece (which is awesome considering she wears either childrens 14 or a junoirs sixe 1/2)- they were all brand name and looked in great condition! I have not found anything for my youngest for Christmas yet for a great price!

I have too! I bought a HUGE lot of legos from Goodwill last year for $9!! They were sold in one of those plastic comforter bags that zips up, and that thing was chock full of legos!! We gave them to the kids....I put them in a big rubbermaid tote, wrapped it up, and Happy Birthday to them!! I've also bought a TON of chapter books for kids there as well; especially when they are 10/$10!!

My husband would have a stroke if I did that!!! I used to buy kids clothes there when the kids were toddlers. My husband would see the amazing clothes I would get and be fine with it. But in his illogical upbringing it was his spendthrift mom who taught him that new is best and going for broke better. I have in ten years seen him change in many ways but Christmas is important to him and this is one area where he remains unchanged.

Personally, if something was in the original packaging, I would have no problem with buying gifts. We all have our hang ups though!!
