Yes..I buy all the c-mas gifts on the cc BUT I have a limit and have never gone over it and then when the tax return comes in we just pay off the card in full. We have been doin this for yers and it really works well for us. I will say though this next year I plan on starting a c-mas club and then once it is time to withdraw that then if i don't have the amount I want then I'll ust the cc for the rest off and of course pay that off in full too. I have 4 kids and spend about 120 bucks per child for their c-mas gifts. It all works out good.

I have purchased some Christmas with a CC this year, but when my Christmas Club check arrives, I'll pay off what I've spent and still should have $s left over.

Not this year!!! We are working hard at getting out of debt so CC are a thing of the past. I look for great sales and write down who it is for and keep the list with me. I am also trying to buy one thing a week so we don't notice the money as much. The last several years we spent well over $1000 and this year the goal is to keep it at $500 if not lower for everyone and no one getting a cheap gift.

I usually try to buy throughout the year but my husbands family is kind of flaky and it totally backfired on us last year. Still I try to get as many deals as I can. I also use anything I earn off the Internet towards Christmas. I currently have 8000 points at MyPoints and I am going to cash in for a $50 Omaha steak GC for my parents. That saves me $50!!! Also Amazon GC I get for surverys goes towards toys for the kids. Last year I swear I only spent about $200 out of pocket for Christmas and my husbands family is HUGE!
