I suppose anyway...
My husband has a credit card with our bank that was around 19% interest. He was talking to me the other day and said something like,"Jeez that's really high."
So he emailed someone, and basically said, he has a pretty good credit score, and has gotten lower interest rate offers on other credit cards, but would basically like to stay with the bank we have, and was wondering if the interest rate could be lowered...

It got lowered to 7 (point something) percent!!

It was lowered by at least 11%.

I think I may try that with ours. I'm not sure they'll do it for us even with an excellent credit rating. When my baby was in the hospital I missed a payment because I honestly just forgot. Our interest rate went up due to that!

That's great!! I'll have to give that a try myself!!!
