I want to continue to hang my clothes to dry inside during the winter to save on the electric bill. Anyone have any good ways to do this? We have a rod hanging in the laundry room, and I put the wet clothes on hangers there. It seems to take them too long to dry though, so I put a desk top fan in there sometimes. Any better suggestions?

I am not sure what to do to get them to dry faster. But I do have a tip about where to hang clothes, for more room. I think someone on here may have suggested it. Put an extra pole in your shower/bathtub. You can just take them down when you need to shower.
I think even if you finish up drying them in the dryer, you will still have saved some money.

Sometimes I will hang them on the rod in the bathroom- not always though. It does save money- but I would rather dry them outside in the sunshine and fresh air- which you can't do when it is really cold and no sun (I kove the smell of them afterwards!).
