I was so hoping there would be more in there I buy things all year usually and I sometimes forget what I have bought. Unfortunately, that was not the case this year. It was kind of a bad year for us since we moved last year and I was not working much, so I stopped shopping for bargins. Now I got to get moving!!! 2 of my boys have birthdays at the beginning of December too I will get some things this weekend then wait for my next paycheck and hopefully finish up. Oh, yeah, usually I don't buy dh anything, but this year he really wants a coat he saw for $94

Oh no December birthdays on top of Christmas- yikes!!! I kind of feel a little sorry for your boys- there is nothing worse than having your birthday so close to Christmas (my birthday is the 11th of December- hopefully your boys don't have relatives that pass off birthday/Christmas presents onto them- I got a lot of that growing up)! FYI- TRU is having a sale- I believe it may just be in stores though- they have a few things on sale for a decent price. Good luck!

The December birthdays haven't bothered them at all (they will be 9 & 10 on the 3rd and 9th). We don't get many gifts from family anyway and their birthdays are always separate events from each other and Christmas. Unfortunately I have no clue where the nearest Toys Are Us is. I am pretty sure there aren't any around me!

That is nice that they enjoy their birthdays! I am sorry- I am so used to having so many stores near me that I always feel like everyone has one right by them !

BTW- just also wanted to let you know that you are not the only one who thought they had more on hand than what they did! I am in the same predictamen. My youngest decided that she wants that Strawberry Shortcake doll that blows kisses (too bad I don't have mine from when I was little!)- it is on sale at TRU today and tomorrow- I have to go there- with her of course and see if I can get it-of course it is one of the hot items this year (good luck to me huh?). It seems like you have a pretty good plan on how you are going to get your done- Good Luck- you can do it!

It's really hard for us around Christmas too because of b'days. My DS is on 12/23, my step-daughter's is on 12/29, and mine is on 12/28, which doesn't matter because I don't really want for anything. My DH is on 1/8 and my dad's is 1/6. My oldest daughter's is on 11/5, so that's when I start spending money all the way til Christmas (uugghh). But I've always done b'day and Christmas presents seperately, because when I was a kid I was always given gifts that said Merry Christmas and Happy B'day on them. My b'day was always pushed aside, and I don't want my kids to experience that.

My stash is over for dd (bday in Jan) and under for ds(bday in Nov). I don't have anything for anyone else.

For the kids, Kohls was putting out there toys the other day and it looks like they have some great ones. I've noticed that their sales prices are really good. Also, ALdi's has some good toys in their ads as well.

Now, I'm off to find my brother something for his bday.

My stash for my kids was low this year too!! I do have plenty on hand for adults (esp. women), and for the 5 and younger kids!!

December is such a crazy busy month for us: SIL birthday on the 4th, FIL birthday on the 5th, mine is the 12th, and my inlaws wedding anniversary is Christmas Eve!! Not to mention Christmas itself, plus the kids class parties, etc. It's just crazy!

Anyway, hope you're able to get some awesome deals!!! Good luck!!

Well, I was not able to do any shopping this weekend. It will have to wait for next payday. I ran into time and money problems. I hate shopping at the last minute

Oh no- I was hoping that you were updating that you got a few things! I hope that you will be able to get a lot of good deals- it seems like there really is not any good sales going on right now and I am thinking that maybe the stores will have better deals once we get closer to Christmas (mainly so they can meet their projected profits for the year).

I did pick a few things up this weekend for the girls (2 cd's for the oldest and the Strawberry shortcake doll for the youngest)- right now the girls don't have too much- but enough that it will be a decent Christmas- I just have to worry about everyone else now!
