I did not shop at all on Saturday as I planned to. I did do some shopping on Sunday, but I did really good and got a couple of gifts done really reasonably. Also, I managed to think out this weeks worth of meals with only spending $20 to hold us over until my big shopping trip next weekend.

I just shaved my 4 yr old's hair myself instead of taking him to get it fixed after he cut several hunks out of it himself

I went grocery shopping today and only spent $45 dollars!
Found $20 on the floor at the shopping mall last night -- there is my gas $$ (for a couple of days since it is up to $3.25 here)
Kept the TV off when no one was watching it - usually I will leave it on for the background noise.

You all did great this weekend -- some great ideas you threw out there; things for me to keep in the back of my head!

We didn't eat out at all this weekend! Really hard for us, but we held our ground. I cooked every meal. Wasn't too bad! Deep cleaned my kitchen on Saturday instead of going shopping. Loved the results! And no money spent!!

I did a little shopping on Saturday, but only to get some puppy food, a small collar, and a leash for our new puppy. While at the store, I picked up some new batteries for my camera and a 4pk. of 35mm film. Sunday, we stayed home, although Brian did have to work. I cooked breakfast and dinner, and have leftover sausage links and french toast that the kids had for breakfast this morning, and have enough for tomorrow too!
