1. I packed my lunch both days for work.
2. I hung up a load of laundry to dry downstairs.

I made pots of coffee instead of going to Starbucks.

On Saturday I went to my SIL house for the cousins to have a play date.

Today the weather is so nice the kids are playing in the back yard.

I used one large chicken for three meals; roasted, soup and then chicken salad sandwiches.
I am using up my pantry and freezer meats before buying anything more; even if I find things on sale I plan not to buy anymore. Sales always come around again.
I am reading books from the library instead of buying them.
I am going to buy my haircolor from now on instead of going to the salon ($135!, yikes!)

Well, due to the uncertainty of when hubby gets paid(self-employed most of the time, so it varies) we have had to cook from the cupboards the past few days. I made an awesome new soup recipe Friday, and it went over so well, I still have the ingredients left, I made it again tonight.
Last night I went out with Alans mom, aunt, and sisters(planned months ago). While everyone else was eating steaks, I had babyback ribs, which is cheaper. I would have brought half home, but we were starving by the time we were seated. I also drank icewater instead of ordering a drink.

Jodie I am so proud of you! I know how much you love your Starbucks. My husband is addicted to Tim Hortons. I hope to get him a good coffee pot for Christmas so he can cut back. The only reason he goes so often is because our coffee pot was a cheap one, and coffee just isn't that good in those. Of course, I am not a coffee snob, so I can't tell the difference. I add a bunch of flavored creamer and sugar.

I cooked as much as I could all weekend. This afternoon when my husband was coming back from window shopping at best buy he asked if I wanted him to bring home lunch. I told him that we could just make a pizza that we already have in the freezer. I also made a crock pot meal tonight. I also stayed home yesterday and today, no shopping!

We normally eat out on Friday night and order in sometimes on Saturday but I made (from scratch) meals all three days this weekend! (that is huge for me!!)

I saved the "heels" of the loaves of bread we've been using over the past few weeks, stored them in the freezer and then took the boys down to the pond today to feed the ducks. They loved it!

We went to a family church social last night. FREE FUN, love it

Hung out at home today! Played hide and seek and red rover with the kids. It was so fun.

Trying to eat from our "stock pile". I was craving sandwiches tonight (weird thing to crave I guess, but I enjoy it) and we were out of bread. Instead I made buscuits and made my "sandwiches" out of them. WOW, first time for me (this may be common) but I loved it! I may do this again even when we have bread!

We entertained friends at home this weekend. We all split the cost of pizza (which we have a REALLY cheap place here) & played board games. It was a lot of fun & cheap!!

We had some warm weather come in so I did as much laundry as I could line dry! i'm gonna miss drying clothes outside (I do it inside a lot of times during the winter)
