1. I made banana bread instead of throwing them away.
2. Used less detergent in the dish washer.
3. Bought a toy on Ebay for my youngest that she really wants. Saved $20.00.

Lets see.. I dont know how much I did. But we sat with the lights off and the windows open. and I took the extra paper from the coupons I printed online and let the kids color on it instead of throwing it away.

Well, I have not spent any money yet today. I took my lunch and pop to work like I always do, I always wash in cold water. I got books from the library. I do have to run out and buy more pop before tomorrow, so I guess I will spend some money, but that is a necessity

Went to Story Time at the library and came straight home.

LIghts off and windows open.

Used marked down meat for dinner and used leftover sides from last night.

Had PB & Honey sandwiches for lunch and leftover muffins for snack.

Got a stack of extra coupons from my neighbor.

1. haven't spent a cent since last wednesday (and i actually do have money... a whopping $30. but i want to see how long i can save my "fun" money)
2. made oatmeal for breakfast instead of breaking down and buying milk just so i could have cereal
3. had leftovers for lunch
4. brought snacks from home
5. made an appointment for the dentist now that my work's 90% coverage has kicked in
6. used up the last of items in the fridge that were going to expire, for supper and for lunch tomorrow. pork chops with roasted peppers, rice and beans.
7. filled up my water bottle for the evening at work for free...i live in a hole, and only drink filtered water... if i can get it for free, all the better.

what's interesting is that with not spending money on eating out, snacks, junk food etc. and cooking healthy frugal meals for myself, since july i've also lost 22 pounds... yay for frugal!

Let's see.....

1. Kids had leftover french toast & sausage for breakfast
2. Washed laundry in cold water; used 1/2 the detergent & white vinegar for fabric softener
3. Ate my lunch at home instead of running to Wendy's for their chili (had a craving for it)
4. Stayed home after taking kids to school; no spending or burning diesel

Did a load of wash using cold water and only half detergent. Didn't drive anywhere, didn't go out to lunch or spend any money!
