November challenge aside do you buy name brand (like Butterball) turkeys or storebrand?

I bought a Butterball at Aldi's so it was cheaper than if I had bought it elsewhere.

I dont know?? My mom swears by Butterball, that is all she has ever bought. I have one in the freezer now, it is a Safeway name brand. The other one I cooked that was a Safeway came out a little dry, but it could have been because I cooked it in my roaster and I had never done one in there before. I do believe that I over cooked that one, not big deal since I was cooking it to shred up and freeze for later. My dh got a voucher for a free Butterball ($20 voucher!). I believe that we are going over to relatives house for Thanksgiving, so I will save my Butterball for another time. In the past I have cooked Manor House and Honeysuckle turkeys and have had great results with them.

Butterball!!

i have boughten both and to be honest as long as you season them well and don't dry them out i can't tell much difference.. dh gets hyvee or honeysuckle ones every year from work and i give them to mil for christmas dinner and they are always good.

Butterball. I used the savings certificate I received with my rewards points. I thought about getting the free storebrand turkey but the wrappers on them were torn and dirty.
