After a few years of trying to figure out toiletries, misc. and various other small amounts I finally came up with just a Wal-Mart category. This is basically for anything that can be bought there. I do my grocery shopping every two weeks and spend $$190 or less if i can. I go to Kroger with this same money because their produce and meat is better, but I call it my Wal-mart budget. I also have a prescription category, blow, entertainment, clothes, and an extra $10 for those milk and oh i forgot needs in between pay checks. My total amount that I get out is now $300 the rest stays in the cheking account for bills since we pay those online. Everyone is different and you do have to tweak it over time and as things change. Pre-kids I could get out $200 now with two we need a little more.
