I can usually buy butter for $.79 (really good sale) or $.99 a pound this time of year, but now not. The best I've seen is 2 / $4.00. I also agree about cranberries, pumpkin, etc. I haven't seen potatoes cheaper than $2.99 for 10 lbs. Even Walmart is going up. I went there today to get formula (Parent's Choice), Sam's Club flavored waters (DH is diabetic and this is one of his few "sweets") and various canned/baking goods. I also slipped in a pair of sweat pants and a sweatshirt for myself ($18.00) because we're trying to bundle up and keep the heat a 65 this year. The total was $108.92. Yikes!!!!!
