acknowledges their black Friday sales online as well? I want the Transformer that is sold out everywhere, but can't seem to find it!!! Toys R Us is adverstising it for 1/2 off on Black Friday, but their website says it's "temporarily unavailable". It's sold out in all the stores and online. I"m wondering if they'll have it on that day......or if I can get it online. I SO dont' want to be out there at 3 in the morning, freezing my rearend off just so I can get inside and have them say they dont have any.....

I don't know about the Black Friday sales, but there was something I wanted from last weekend's flyer and it showed up as temporarily unavailable online.

I am really not sure. I know the one thing I wanted for one of the 2 day sales they had going on was not available for the price online (it was probably only good for in store purchases). I would call up the local TRU and ask them if the black friday sales are available online (I believe Walmart and Target offer that as well).

I know when there was something on sale that was hard to find in the stores (Strawberry Berry Kisses Doll)- it was not available in the store the day before the sale (I was in the area so I decided to stop by). They had it in the store the next day- so maybe they have it- but not just putting it on the shelves right now.

Steve'smom is so right. Last week, they advertised the Neoshifters on sale. I couldn't find them, so I asked. Of course, almost nobody knew what I was talking about. Then one guy said he saw they had them. But they hadn't put them out yet! This was on Friday, the sale started the previous Sunday! Somebody else found them and gave me two.

And if you're looking for Bumblebee, good luck. Target had a few before I realized they were what ds wanted and now I literally see people grabbing them as they are stocked. I think we'll just wait for the demand to die down. DS really wants the ultimate one which is around $90 and up ($150 online at some places). No way.

I don't know the answer to your original question but if you have a toy you really want to find, Target is the best, at least the one by me. They told me they know by the time the store opens what stock they have received, even if it's not on the shelf. They will let you call just as the store opens and will check to see if they received any of the item. If they have, they will pull it from the shelf and hold if for a few hours. They said they get new items every single day. When Baby Alive was really hard to find last year, it only took a couple days of calling to get one.

bumble bee is gonna be tough if that is the one you are looking for..i was lucky and got the target duo of the old style bumble bee and the new style bumble bee they only had one left and were not getting anymore.. the other bad part is hasbro makes exclusives for specific stores so target may get some that walmart and tru don't get and vice versa good luck... difinately call the store.
