My list would be the same as everyone elses. The only other thing I can think of is boxed stuffing. I tried generic once and it was horrible and gritty. Stove Top is the only brand we get now. OH! And Walmart crackers. The ones that look like Ritz crackers. YUCK!! We got a box of those the other day and they taste like the box. Actually, I think that the box would have tasted better!

My dh prefers Miracle Whip, JIF and Prego. Sometimes I slip a cheap spaghetti sauce on him and really doctor it up with seasonings, but he often notices.

Shoes have to be skechers... picky on the shoes thing!
deodorant has to be dry area- i'm allergic to everything else
laundry soap has to be liquid. Not really brand specific but i HATE powdered!
my DH is very brand specific but he does none of the shopping so he doesn't get a say. lol

shoes! I buy stride rite for ds. I wait for good sales and then stock up on a couple pairs in each size. He only has two pairs of shoes for each size. I have bad ankles and don't want to take any chances.

coffee! We drink Peets, I'm such a snob I don't like Starbucks (it tastes burned to me). In a coffee emergency, I can handle Trder Joe's French Roast.

Frankly, we avoid most store brands. We do majority of our shopping at Trader Joe's, we do not eat anything with corn syrup or hydrogeated oils and buy organic in what we can afford. Pretty much the entire store fits our citeria.

I don't think I'm a snob but I don't buy many things generic. I had too many bad experiences. Laundry soap has to be Tide, I rather use less of the good stuff. I once bought store brand pasta and it was awfull. I wait for my brand to be on sale and I buy a whole bunch.

I buy store brand cheese since it taste very good. Sometimes cookies but that is about all. I must say that I do not buy prepared foods very much though.

I forgot shoes, IMO worth spending a bit more $$ on.

liamsmom - I'm with you, no hydrogenated oils or high fructose corn syrup in this house. Dh wasn't too happy when I switched his peanut butter from Skippy to all natural, oh well he got over it.

Here are a few things that I won't buy generic:
Heinz Ketchup, Kraft parmesan cheese, Kraft American cheese singles, Fruity Pebbles (all other cereal is ok generic), Folger's coffee, Ragu spaghetti sauce, Campbell's cream soups, Jif or Reese's peanut butter, Bernea french onion dip, Yoplait yogurt, Act II Popcorn, Brummel & Brown (margarine spread), Ore Ida tater tots.
That's about all I can think of right now. Most everything else I buy is generic, if it's available.
