I will buy brand if I can get it cheaper and alot of times I do get it cheaper when it goes on sale for BOGO!

I have also had too many bad experiences with generics, so I quit buying them!! They really just don't work/taste the same as the name brand products. Why should they.......they don't have a name to live up too!

The absolute worst generics in my book are generic pop-tarts, cereal bars, & mac n cheese.
I have tried a lot of generic items too, so I do not think you are being snobby. Everyone has a right to quality!

I just can't shop Aldi's anymore because I have had too many stale and poor tasting products from their stores. I'd rather shop sales and clip coupons!!!

........actually the only items I do use generic all of the time are Target brand Diapers and Wipes. This is all folks!

i agree that some things need to be spent on. good jeans, gym shoes, hair products, toothpaste. other than that, i will take cheap.

I buy a lot of generics, but I won't buy generic toilet paper and paper towels! They just don't handle the jobs I need them to do.
