i went to the thrift store to get some jeans... found a pair, nearly new for 6 bucks... got to the cash register, and it was 1/2 off blue tag day. my jeans had a blue tag, so i got them for 3 bucks! yay!

i then went to the charity bookstore down the street and got a brand new book for 3 bucks because they too were having a half-off sale.

i went to the used music and movie store and got 2 movies for 10 bucks (they were dvd's and art films, so this was a good deal for me)

then i went to the library to pick up the dvds' i had on hold... free! yay!

all in all a GOOD SATURDAY!!

Sounds wonderful. $3 for a pair of jeans, what a bargain.

sounds like you had a great Saturday I love the thrift shop. You can always find great deals.
I wanted to get a game called Trouble for my kids picked up one at Kmart for 13.00. then I saw it on sale for $7.00 at Target. I had a $5.00 gift card to Target from doing paid surveys. I returned the game to Kmart and purchased it at Target for $2 and change.

I made out good last time I hit the thrift store too. I got three pairs of jeans for $4 each. I have never had that good of luck there for the boys. But than of course the next week the boys out grew two pairs of their old jeans! I am going to try and hit the thrift store every week. They have 50% off tag day too. I think it is just a matter of going every so often since they are always putting new stuff out.
