As far as I know Walmart is the only store in my area that will do price matches. I just need to know how to do it. Obviously I take in the flyer from the other store with me. But do they make the correction at the check out or do I have to go thru the check out pay Walmart's price and than go thru Customer Service to get my money? Does Walmart just do price matches from other grocery stores or can it be like from Kmart, Walgreens, etc. as long as I have the actual store flyer and of course get the same item, name brand and size. Is doing price match worth the time???? thanks!

Why don't you just call up the customer service desk at your local WalMart and find out what their procedure is?

It can be from Target, or wherever (but probably not anything internet). You should just take it to the cashier. They call a supervisor if there's a question or issue. It can definitely be worth it, and shouldn't take long at all. I so wish Target had this policy!! But no!!

Can dark get darker?

At my Walmart they will match it at the register. It can be from any store but sometimes they are really picky about making sure it is the exact same item and they won't match BOGO or %off sales, just actuall dollar amount. Last year I wanted them to match Target's price on the Dora & Diego Alphabet/number games and they would only do one.

Kmart doesn't match either. It would be nice if these places did also.

I always wondered about this too. It would take a lot of time if you took in a ton of store ads. Especially if you had your groceries!!!

Good question Araefinn! Does it usually add a lot of extra time to them checking you out? I want to try it too, but feel so bad for holding up the line ~ (especially this time of year)

Go right to the cashier (at Wal-Mart) and most of the "experienced" cashiers (the ones who have been there for a while) just go ahead and do it. The other day when I was there, there was a lady who had ads from 3 different stores doing price matches on.

Definitely worth it!

There was a lady in front of us on Black Friday, with EVERY STINKING BLACK FRIDAY AD in her hands, getting EVERYTHING price matched. I kid you not, it took her over a HALF HOUR to get checked out ,,, *shudders*
