This month's challenge is.....use up items in your pantry before going to the store. Take time to take an inventory of what you have in your pantry and plan your meals around that.

I will need to buy meat, milk, and other dairy items this month, but other than that it will be pantry shopping for this household.

I'll be joining this challenge, But I do have to buy one Ham for Christmas dinner. And some milk this month. But no meat or sides to buy this month.

I am sooooooo in on this challenge!! I think it will be a great way for me to start getting more organized in 2008!! That, and it will save a lot of money!! I just hope Brian gets at least one deer tomorrow, so we'll have deer meat in the freezer!! ACK!

I guess I don't have a pantry? (Though I do have a room off my kitchen I call my pantry, where I store my monthly purchases) I always plan my monthly menu and buy what I need, so I never have alot left over.

I'm up for this. I'm working on my menu for the month now (pretty bad on a saturday night, menu planning and paying bills) I think I'll even go use up cleaning and baby supplies too!!!

I am in on this one too! I will only have to buy milk, fruits/veggies and a few other fillers - everything else I have.

USE IT UP, WEAR IT OUT, MAKE IT DO OR DO WITHOUT!!!

I am up for this challenge- there is a few things I need to get this month though (milk, other fresh items and a ham- oh and toliet paper my stockpile is running short in that department!)- but I have a freezer stocked up with so much stuff I have to play tetris anytime I need to get something out of there! I also want to use up a lot of my cleaning supplies so I can start using more "natural products".

Great idea! I need to join this challenge and clean out my pantry and freezer!
